I am currently working with Weatherford UK Ltd as NDT Level III since 2007. I completed my Bachelors in Electrical engineering and started working in NDT Services since 2004.With my current company I am responsible to train & examine trainees and current Level 2 inspectors, Conduct Monitoring/Audit for our 3rd party vendor & make sure they comply Weatherford's Inspection requirement.

I have recently moved to SGS based at Immingham . I have a primary responsibility for the provision of technical support to the NDT Operations Department.
I was a Technical Manager for Oceaneering , I have worked in NDT since 1987 in fields as diverse as aerospace to ships surveys, pressure vessels to structural steelwork, new builds to in-service inspections.
During my NDT career I have received help and support from many people in the industry, so I feel its time to give something back and help to support the people who work in NDT.

I have been a director on the North Atlantic Section since 2001, was Chairman from July 2006 until July 2010, I now look after the website and am the Region 18 Director.
I now work for British Engineering Services after 21 years with RSA PLC,
I have worked in NDT since 1982, travelling all over the UK, offshore and overseas, achieving my PCN and ASNT qualifications along the way. I now manage the NDT & Materials Testing section of British Engineering Services offering technical support to engineering surveyors in the field. My team ensures that the insured items of plant are inspected professionally in accordance with legislation therefore reducing the insured risk.
My time is split between my family, work commitments, ASNT and my local football club, in which I sit on the committee and manage a team.
For further punishment I am a season ticket holder at Bolton Wanderers.

I am the Global Distributor Manager for Guided Ultrasonics Ltd. My primary responsibility is to Manage and increase a Global Distributor Network, to increase awareness of Guided Wave technology and revenue.
I have been in the NDT industry for just over 15 years. Before that I was working in the Electronics Industry, selling PCB’s and assembly.
Previously I worked for Technology Design for 10 years and then moved to Silverwing NDT (Eddyfi) for 5 years, so have worked with TOFD, Phased Array, MFL and basic UT instruments. Now learning about GWT.
Having travelled all over the UK and overseas extensively, this allows me to understand and appreciate, different cultures and work practices. Travelling is a passion of mine, meeting new people, learning about their history, sampling their food and drink, understanding their challenges in life and making new friends along the way.
