1.0 Purpose
The Purpose of this Policy is to outline the responsibilities of the ASNT President.
2.0 Scope
This policy applies to the ASNT President.

4.0 Duties
4.1 Presides at all Operations Committee meetings.
4.2 Schedules ASNT Operations Committee Meetings and approves the agenda for distribution.
4.3 Appoints the Chair and members of all committees that report to the Operations Committee.
4.4 Responsible to work with the Executive Director in achieving the goals of the Society and the programs approved by the Board of Directors.
4.5 Presides at Board meetings if Chairperson of the Board is not present
5.0 Committee Membership
The President is a member of the Executive Committee and Operations Committee and an ex-officio member of designated Board Committees.
6.0 Reporting Requirements
The President shall present a report at each Board meeting on the activities of the Operations Committee.
